West Bengal Assembly Polls 2021: Super Victory For Mamata Banerjee Led Trinamool Congress

Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress has crossed the half-way mark in early leads in Bengal and is leading in 205 seats. The BJP has made gains since the 2019 national elections. The Chief Minister's Trinamool and the BJP ran a bitter, no holds barred campaign that defied Covid-19 safety rules as well as the poll code. Mamata Banerjee is trailing the BJP's Suvendhu Adhikari, her former close aide, in Nandigram, which is the most-watched fight in Bengal. As trends predicted a sweep for Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar congratulated her on the stupendous victory. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut also took to Twitter to congratulate her.
