X-Men Dark Phoenix Movie Review: The final offering from Fox in the X-Men franchise, before merging with Disney, is X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The movie is the retelling of the Jean Grey's Phoenix storyline, which has already been terribly attempted with X-Men 3: The Last Stand. This time around Sophie Turner plays the role of Jean Grey who turns into Dark Phoenix after coming in contact with an alien species. James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence return to reprise their roles.
