London, July 12: England is left heart-broken after they lost to Croatia in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in the semi-final stage. And the World Cup is "Not coming home" now. But one image that is sure to hurt English fans more is that of Croatia President Kolinda Grabar presenting a no. 10 jersey to Prime Minister Theresa May before the England vs Croatia match. Both the leaders are attending the NATO summit in Brussels, currently.

This is not the first time that the British Prime Minister has been presented with a jersey before England's 2018 FIFA World Cup match. And this is also not the first time that England lost to its opponent after Theresa May getting a jersey. Previously, Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michael had also presented PM May with a football jersey before the England vs Belgium group stage match, which England lost 1- 0.

The Croatian President also posed for a picture with American President Donald Trump and was seen talking to Germany's chancellor Angela Merkel. Have a look at the pictures shared by Kolinda Grabar:

Prime Minister Theresa May had wished the team luck ahead of their match against Croatia in a video on Twitter:

But the British Prime Minister's wishes seemed to have little impact on the game as a determined Croatia won the contest 2-1 against England. The Prime Minister tweeted after the match and said that "it wasn't to be this time," and that England team will have ample support ahead of their match against Belgium on Saturday for the third place play-off.
