Last weekend US President’s daughter Ivanka Trump posted a picture of her along with her son on Twitter and received severe backlash from netizens on Twitter. And this also led to an outpour from US comedian Samantha Bee, she used an expletive word for Ivanka on her late-night show Full Frontal, this week. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump called for Bee to be fired claiming it was ‘total double standards’ that TBS had not cancelled her show.
Bee’s comment wanted to highlight about the country’s immigration policies which are reportedly breaking up families and putting children at risk. There are reports of children being separated from their parents at the US border. Following the sad situation of immigrants, Ivanka Trump shared a picture with her son that sparked hatred towards her and her dad’s policies that are separating children from their parents.

One tweet was all it took to angry the people nationwide and comedian Bee also joined the league to criticise Ivanka. In her rant she used expletive word for the first daughter. Her monologue reads:
“After decades of ignoring the issue, Americans are finally paying attention. Well most of us…,” she said. “Ivanka Trump who works at the White House, chose to post the second most oblivious tweet this week. You know Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say one thing, one mother to another: do something about your dad’s immigration practices you feckless c**t. He listens to you. Put on something tight and low-cut and tell your father to f**king stop it. Tell him it was an Obama thing and see how it goes, OK?”
Bee’s rant has prompted more criticism of Ms Trump on social media. However, Bee soon apologised to Ivanka on Thursday for using obscenity, but that’s that. Her network TBS also said it was ‘our mistake too’ in allowing the language on Bee’s show on Wednesday.
Bee’s Apology Tweet for Using Obscene Language
I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night. It was inappropriate and inexcusable. I crossed a line, and I deeply regret it.

Mr Trump tweeted that it was a ‘total double standard’ that US television station TBS had not cancelled Bee’s show Full Frontal post the comment she made on Ivanka on controversial immigration policies.
Trump’s Post Asking Bee to Be Fired
Why aren’t they firing no talent Samantha Bee for the horrible language used on her low ratings show? A total double standard but that’s O.K., we are Winning, and will be doing so for a long time to come!

The president appeared to be referring to a decision by ABC America to cancel Roseanne Barr’s show, a favourite among conservatives, after Barr jokingly compared a former White House aide in the Obama administration who is African-American to an ape.
TBS is happy that Bee apologised for the comment and gave no further information on whether there would be consequences. Last month, the Trump administration announced it had ‘zero tolerance’ for people who crossed the border illegally and that’s why there has been a rise in separations, according to the deputy director of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Thomas Homan.
