Nawada, January 10: Bihar Police have busted an online scam operating under the name All India Pregnant Service, in which victims were lured with offers to make women pregnant and get INR 10 lakh as payment. The fraudulent racket was uncovered in Nawada district following a targeted cybercrime raid that led to the arrest of eight accused.
According to police, the gang ran a fake scheme titled “All India Pregnant Job Service,” falsely claiming to connect healthy men with wealthy, childless women willing to pay INR 10 lakh for impregnation. Acting on cyber surveillance inputs, the police raided the Barbigha area and seized multiple mobile phones, SIM cards, and documents used to execute the fraud. ‘Make Me Pregnant, Get INR 25 Lakh’: Pune Contractor Loses INR 11 Lakh in Bizarre Online Scam Promising Reward for Impregnating a Woman.
How the ‘Make Women Pregnant, Get INR 10 Lakh’ Scam Worked
Investigators said the accused targeted men across India through social media platforms and WhatsApp. Professional-looking advertisements promoted the All India Pregnant Service, promising INR 2 lakh as an advance and the remaining INR 8 lakh after a successful pregnancy. To gain trust, the scammers shared fake registration forms, forged medical documents, and photographs of so-called clients. Victims were gradually convinced that the offer to make women pregnant and get INR 10 lakh was genuine.
Victims Trapped Through Fake Fees
Once a person showed interest, the gang began extracting money in stages. Victims were first asked to pay a “registration fee” of INR 799. This was followed by additional demands for “security deposits,” “medical kits,” and “GST charges.” After collecting substantial amounts, the scammers cut off contact and switched off their phone numbers.
Police Action and Growing Cybercrime Concern
A senior police official said the gang exploited financial stress and lack of digital awareness. Preliminary investigation suggests several victims were cheated of lakhs of rupees over the past few months.
Authorities noted that districts like Nawada, Jamui, and Nalanda are emerging as cybercrime hubs, often compared to the Jamtara-style fraud model. The accused remain in custody while police examine call records and transaction trails to identify more victims linked to the All India Pregnant Service scam.
Police have urged citizens to stay alert and avoid “too good to be true” offers such as claims to make women pregnant and get INR 10 lakh. People are advised to report suspicious online advertisements to the national cybercrime portal immediately.
