4 Held for Snatching Mobile Phones

New Delhi, Aug 3 (PTI) Four men were arrested here for allegedly snatching mobile phones, changing their IMEI numbers and selling them off, police said on Saturday.

The accused have been identified as Sandeep Sharma (26), Deepak (28), Mohammad Samar (37) and Deepak Chauhan (22), they said.

Sandeep and Deepak used to act as snatchers, while Samar and Chauhan were responsible for changing the IMEI numbers and selling the stolen phones, the police said.

Fifty mobile phones and five two-wheelers were recovered from their possession, they added. PTI NIT

Two nabbed for supplying illicit liquor

New Delhi, Aug 3 (PTI) Two men were arrested for allegedly supplying illicit liquor in Dwarka's Sector-8 area, police said on Saturday.

The accused have been identified as Arjun Chauhan (26) and Raj Kumar (29), they said.

Police arrested the accused on Friday at around 1 am, officials said, adding that 1,824 liquor bottles were recovered from their possession. PTI NIT ************************

New Delhi, Aug 3 (PTI) Three men were arrested for allegedly snatching mobile phones from southwest Delhi's RK Puram area, police said on Saturday.

The accused have been identified as Sunil (20), Brijesh Kumar (19) and Sumit Pal (19), they said.

They were arrested from Amar Shahid Prem Singh Marg in RK Puram, a senior police officer said.

Six mobile phones and three two-wheelers were recovered from their possession, they added. PTI NIT

New Delhi, Aug 3 (PTI) A 26-year-old history-sheeter and his two accomplices were arrested for allegedly threatening two people in outer Delhi's Nareal area, police said on Saturday.

The accused were identified as Yogesh, Deepak (22) and Akash (22), they said.

They had allegedly threatened and assaulted two people, officials said. PTI NIT

Man held for supplying liquor

New Delhi, Aug 3 (PTI) A 28-year-old man was arrested for allegedly supplying illicit liquor in outer Delhi's Nangloi area, police said on Saturday.

The accused was identified as Jamaluddin, a resident of Uttam Nagar, they said.

The accused was arrested from main Rohtak Road, Nangloi, police said, adding that 15,000 quarters and bottles, along with two vehicles, were recovered from his possession.
