Authorities to Take Action Against 13 Schools That Remained Open by Defying Orders

Ghaziabad, Dec 19 (PTI) The district administration has ordered registration of FIRs against 13 schools here for not obeying the state government's order to remain shut on Thursday and Friday due to extremely cold weather, sources said.
District magistrate Ajay Shankar Pandey told PTI it was observed that even after the administrative order was circulated by district inspector of schools (DIOS), some schools were opened on Thursday.
Thirteen schools have been identified for flouting the instructions, he said.
FIRs would be lodged against M.D.Public school, Sanskar Public school, Presidium Public school, Sonika Public school, Servin Public school, Children Public school, DPS Public school, DAV Public school, Green Field Public school, Presidium school Rajnagar extension, Blooming Kids Convent school Loni, Anamika inter college and Sophia inter college, under the appropriate sections of law.
On Friday, all post graduate colleges, engineering and management institutes and medical colleges in the district will remain closed, Pandey said, adding that FIRs would be lodged against the management in case of violation of government of orders.
