Allahabad, Sep 7 (PTI) Two people, including a woman, went missing after a boat capsized in the Belan river here Friday, an official said.

According to SP Deepender Nath Chaudhary, the boat carrying 29 people capsized in the river. Twenty-seven people were rescued and two were still missing.

As the river was in spate, the water was swirling, making the boat movement unstable, he said.

A team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) was rushed to the spot to find the missing people, he added. PTI CORR
