New Delhi (India), Aug 8 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) froze the bank accounts of Brajesh Thakur, the key accused in the Muzaffarpur shelter home case, and is also investigating Thakur's property and bank balance.
The watchman of a shelter home in Madhubani, from where a key witness in the Muzzafarpur case went missing, has also been arrested.
Thakur, who runs the shelter home in Muzzafarpur, claimed that he was falsely implicated for planning to join the Congress party before he was produced before the court among other accused on Wednesday.
The shelter home case was uncovered around three months ago after a report by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in April revealed that the inmates were allegedly sexually abused, after which 11 employees of the shelter home were arrested and 44 girls were rescued. (ANI)
