Delhi Police Workshop to Deal with Cyber Crime
The Delhi Police Monday organised a one-day workshop here for investigation of cases and complaints related to cyber crime, officials said.
New Delhi, Apr 15 (PTI) The Delhi Police Monday organised a one-day workshop here for investigation of cases and complaints related to cyber crime, officials said.
"The southeast district organised a one-day workshop programme for investigation of cases and complaints related to cyber crime. The workshop was facilitated by the District Cyber Cell and attended by all ACPs, SHOs, inspectors and investigating officers of the district," Chinmoy Biswal, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast), said.
The expert faculty from Cyber Cell/Special Cell, Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Police Training School (PTS) and District Cyber Cell imparted training to police officers of the district, he said.
The participants were educated regarding different types of cyber crimes, IT Act, IP Address and internet, net banking/ATM/Mobile wallet frauds, hacking of e-mails, social media account misuse, crypto-currency, CDR analysis and electronic seizure, police added.

2 juveniles apprehended for vehicle theft
New Delhi, Apr 15 (PIT) The Delhi Police has apprehended two juveniles for allegedly stealing vehicles from Paharganj area in central Delhi, officials said.
During investigation, CCTV footage of cameras installed at different places of Paharganj were analysed following which the culprits were apprehended, they said.
Eleven two-wheelers were also seized from their possession.

3 arrested for stealing vehicles
New Delhi, Apr 15 (PTI)
Three men were arrested for allegedly stealing vehicles from northeast Delhi's Shastri Park area, police said Monday.
The accused have been identified as Talib (19), Faisal (25) and Zeeshan (30), they said, adding Rs 5,000 was recovered from their possession.
