Los Angeles [US], March 13 (ANI): Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper is likely to write and direct the much-awaited Warner Bros film 'Ocean's 11' prequel.
According to a Variety report, Cooper, who has lately been in talks to star opposite Margot Robbie in the upcoming prequel, remains among the top choices to helm the film.
The update arrives on the heels of filmmaker Lee Isaac Chung's recent exit from the project after Jay Roach, who was previously also a part of the project.
If confirmed, the 'Ocean's 11' prequel would mark Bradley Cooper's fourth feature as a director, following 'A Star Is Born', 'Maestro', and 2025's 'Is This Thing On?'

The prequel is expected to take place before the events of the 2001 casino heist comedy 'Ocean's Eleven', which featured George Clooney, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, and Julia Roberts.
The film's screenplay has been penned by Carrie Solomon, which is said to be set in 1960s Europe.
Notably, the original 'Ocean's 11' premiered in 1960. The film featured Rat Pack (music band) members like Frank Sinatra, Joey Bishop, Sammy Davis Jr, Peter Lawford, and Dean Martin.
The Steven Soderbergh-directed 'Oceans' spawned two sequels, including 'Ocean's Twelve' and 'Ocean's Thirteen', followed by 'Ocean's Eight' reboot with Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, and Anne Hathaway.
Meanwhile, Clooney also has a new 'Ocean's' film in the works, with OG stars Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, and Don Cheadle returning, as per Variety.
"There was something about the idea that we're too old to do what we used to do, but we're still smart enough to know how to get away with something, that just appeals to me. They've lost a step, and they need to find a way to work around their limitations," Clooney told Variety last year. (ANI)
