Ghaziabad, Aug 18 (PTI) Farmers from Mandola village in Loni area today met Housing Commissioner Ajay Chauhan here over compensation for their agricultural lands which were acquired by the Avas Vikas Parishad for a group housing scheme.

District Magistrate Ritu Maheswari said a delegation of farmers asked for the rates to be revised.

Chauhan directed officials of the Avas Vikas Parishad to identify the lands which were allotted to lease holders in 1984.
