Ankapalli (Andhra Pradesh) [India], October 18 (ANI): Goddess Sri Durga Malleshwari at Makavara Palem village of Anakapalli district was decorated with 30 lakh rupees currency on Wednesday.

Along with the temple premises, the idol of the Goddess is also decorated with currency notes.

Under the direction of temple priest MV Mallikarjuna Sharma, the devotees collected these currency notes from a donor, in honour of the Dussehra Navratri festival, Goddesses were decorated with money on the fourth day of Shree Mahalakshmi Devi's incarnation.

The organizers said that it is customary to present gold coins to Goddesses every year.

The temple administration had collected the funds from donors and decorated the Goddess with thirty lakh rupees. (ANI)
