West Champaran (Bihar) [India], April 29 (ANI): Panic gripped residents and several houses were damaged after a fire broke out and spread in the Bettiah area of West Champaran district on Monday.

Visuals show residents witnessing the flames that covered the clouds from the huge fire that spread in the Thakraha block of Bihar's Bettiah.

No casualties or injuries have been reported from the incident. The blaze however caused damages to property in the residential area.

The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
