New Delhi [India], September 22 (ANI): All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on Friday refuted reports claiming a shortage of items in its Cardio Thoracic Centre. 

In a statement issued on reports of shortage of items and stalling of services in its Cardio-Thoracic Centre, AIIMS Delhi said, " There were some reports regarding shortage of items and delay in procedures at the Cardio-Thoracic Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi. There is no shortage of any items."

The statement further said that AIIMS, New Delhi is committed to following the Central government’s guidelines regarding the procurement of goods. 

“However, surgical procedures and interventions are being carried out as per schedule in the Cardio Thoracic Centre and there is no shortage of any items,” the institute said.

AIIMS, New Delhi is committed to follow the Government of India guidelines regarding procurement of goods, it added. (ANI)
