New Delhi [India], July 22 (ANI): The Delhi High Court judges inaugurated the renovated Common Bar Room and Canteen in the Lawyers' Chambers Block in the Rohini District Court Complex.

Justice Sanjeev Narula, Chairman, Portfolio Committee, inaugurated the renovated common Bar Room and Canteen. This occasion was graced by Justice Mini Pushkarna, Justice Amit Mahajan and Justice Tejas Karia, the Members of the Portfolio Committee.

During the program, Principal District and Sessions Judge (North-West District) Nisha Saxena, Principal District & Sessions Judge (North District) Prem Kumar Bhardwaj and other judges and a large gathering of advocates were present.

Advocate Pardeep Khatri, Secretary, Rohini Bar Association, highlighted the Association's continuous efforts for strengthening infrastructure and enhancing facilities for advocates. He stated that the renovation of the canteen and the Common Bar Room reflects the Executive Committee's commitment to the welfare of the legal fraternity and expressed gratitude to the Judges and all those who supported the initiative.

Advocate Rajiv Tehlan, President of the Association, thanked the Judges, the District Judiciary, and the members of the Bar for their continued support.

Advocate Khatri said that the common bar room has facilities necessary for lawyers. It will help them to take rest and to discuss during the day. The canteen will be useful for lawyers as it is situated at the lawyers' chambers.

Rohini District Court deals with criminal, civil and other matters originating from two districts, namely North and North West Delhi. Earlier, the North District was part of Tis Hazari Court. (ANI)
