Shimla, Jul 11 (PTI) MLA Rakesh Kalia filed a complaint to the police on Friday alleging death threat to him and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu through an international call, police said.

The Gagret MLA said that the threat was received at 7:48 pm on Thursday in the name of Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), the group spearheading the Khalistan Referendum.

A case of endangering the sovereignty, unity, and integrity of India and criminal intimidation under sections 152 and 315 of the BNS has been registered against the unidentified caller, and further investigations are underway, police said.
