New Delhi, September 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the seven people who died in the Lakhimpur Kheri bus-truck collision earlier in the day.

Rs 2 lakh from PMNRF (Prime Minister's National Relief Fund) would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs 50,000," a tweet from the Prime Minister's Office read. President Droupadi Murmu also expressed condolences to the kin of the people who lost their lives in the accident today.
