Karimnagar (Telangana) [India], April 3 (ANI): A car-truck collision killed two persons and left one injured near the Bommakal flyover, under Karimnagar Rural police station limits in Karimnagar district, officials said.

The deceased individuals were taken for a post-mortem examination (PME), and the injured individual was taken to the hospital for further treatment.

A case has been registered by the police.

According to a police official, "Two people died and one was injured in a road accident involving a car and a truck. We have shifted deceased bodies to PME and are investigating the matter."

An investigation is underway, and further details are awaited in the case.

Earlier on March 15, in a separate incident, a speeding car rammed into two bikes in Medchal-Malkajgiri district of Telangana, killing one person and leaving two others dead, police said.

"This incident happened yesterday. We've registered a case and are investigating the matter. One person is dead on the spot, and two have sustained serious injuries. We're currently searching for the accused and will provide more details later," police said. (ANI)
