Dehradun, September 6: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated and wished the people of the state on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi. Describing Lord Ganesha as the first worshiper and destroyer of obstacles, the Chief Minister has wished happiness, prosperity, and good health in everyone's life on this holy festival.

Ganesh Chaturthi, a ten-day festival that starts on the fourth day of the Hindu lunisolar calendar month 'Bhadrapada', will start on September 7 this year. This auspicious ten-day festival starts with 'Chaturthi' and ends on 'Anantha Chaturdashi'. The festive period is also known as 'Vinayak Chaturthi' or 'Vinayak Chavithi'. The first look of Mumbai's famous Lalbaugcha Raja was unveiled on Thursday.
