TN: Authorities Send 20 Stray Cows to Gaushala for Creating Traffic Menace

Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) [India], Nov 23 (ANI): The Coimbatore Corporation Zoo authorities on Saturday captured at least 20 stray cows and handed over it to a Gaushala here on Saturday. According to the authorities, cows, belonging to local residents of Kempatty Colony and Ukkadam, were creating traffic menace in the area as the cattle wander on the road.Despite objections from cow owners, this is the first time in Tamil Nadu that authorities are capturing cattle and sending them to a Gaushala.
