The All-New Guerrilla 450 Apex, Says Royal Enfield

Aggressive Ergonomics of Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Apex and Handling Updates

The defining feature of the Guerrilla 450 Apex is its revised rider triangle. Royal Enfield has equipped the variant with a lower and further-set aluminium handlebar—repositioned by 56mm lower and 57mm forward - to create a more committed, forward-leaning posture. To complement this sportier stance, the Apex swaps the standard model's dual-purpose rubber for road-biased 17-inch Vredestein Centuro ST tyres. These are designed to offer superior grip on tarmac and enhanced stability during spirited cornering, addressing a key area of feedback from previous owners.

Design and Aesthetic Enhancements in Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Apex

The Apex variant distinguishes itself visually with several track-inspired styling cues. Key design updates include:

  • Body-Colored Accents: A colour-matched cowl atop the circular LED headlamp and a removable rear-seat cowl that gives the bike a single-seater appearance.
  • Exclusive Colours: The variant is available in three distinct shades: Apex Red (INR 2.49 lakh), and the premium Apex Black and Apex Green (both at INR 2.56 lakh).
  • Trim Details: The bike features coordinated rim tapes and misses out on the front fork gaiters found on the standard trims, providing a cleaner look.

Sherpa 450 Engine and Retained Hardware

Mechanically, the 2026 range continues to utilize the 452cc liquid-cooled Sherpa engine, which serves as a stressed member of the steel twin-spar frame.

Standard Lineup Upgrades in Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Apex

While the Apex takes the spotlight, the existing Dash and Flash trims have also been refreshed for 2026. These models now feature updated CEAT Gripp XL RE tyres with a revised compound that claims an 8 per cent improvement in dry grip and 17 per cent in wet conditions. The Dash variant also receives a new Twilight Blue colourway, equipped with standard handguards and a headlamp grille. All variants continue to feature the 4-inch circular TFT "Tripper Dash" with Google Maps-based navigation and full smartphone connectivity.
