Skoda has launched the facelifted Slavia in India with refreshed styling, a new 8-speed automatic gearbox and segment-first rear-seat massage function. Skoda is all set to officially launch the refreshed Slavia facelift in India tomorrow, October 6, 2026. The updated sedan brings a series of exterior styling updates, modern cabin technologies, and a brand-new automatic gearbox option while retaining its core platform and driving character.
The vehicle arrives with a revised butterfly grille, segmented chrome detailing, sharper LED headlamps with new daytime running light signatures, and redesigned bumpers. As per a NDTV Profit report, the refreshed exterior is complemented by new 16-inch alloy wheels, revised LED tail-lamps with sequential turn indicators, and two fresh exterior paint options consisting of Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige. The updated interior features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system alongside a 10.25-inch digital driver display, both equipped with updated graphics. Equipment levels include powered and ventilated front seats, a sunroof, wireless smartphone connectivity, ambient lighting, and cruise control. A major highlight is the introduction of a segment-first rear-seat massage function, accompanied by a 360-degree camera and an upgraded air-conditioning system with a variable-geometry compressor. Safety features comprise six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, and hill-hold assist.
Mechanically, the sedan continues to offer two turbo-petrol engines: a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI producing 115hp and 178Nm, and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI developing 150hp and 250Nm. The 1.0-litre unit now features a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission replacing the older six-speed automatic, while the 1.5-litre engine is paired exclusively with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The outgoing version was priced between INR 10.00 lakh and INR 18.20 lakh, and the facelifted model is expected to carry a slight price adjustment, potentially ranging from INR 10.25 lakh to INR 18.75 lakh ex-showroom. Official prices will be revealed tomorrow.
