WhatsApp Channel Cannot Be Used for PF Transactions
The EPFO WhatsApp channel is not an account-management platform. Members cannot use it to submit individual claims or manage their EPF accounts.
For personal PF-related services, members should continue using the official EPFO Member Portal or the government's UMANG app. These services include checking EPF balances and passbooks, submitting transfer or withdrawal claims, tracking claim status and managing UAN and KYC details.
EPFO Warns Members About WhatsApp Scams
EPFO has repeatedly cautioned members against sharing sensitive information with unknown callers or messages. Members should not share their UAN passwords, OTPs, Aadhaar details, PAN information or bank account details through WhatsApp, phone calls or social media.
