Blame it on Tiger Shroff's massive fan following or dearth of action movies at the cinema, Baaghi 2 has crossed a landmark figure by virtue of which it is all set clink more coins at the collection windows. Yes, the film has reached Rs 155 crore figure, which is quite enviable for other films to follow. Baaghi 2, thanks to the global appeal of Jacki Shroff' son, is all set to eye the Rs 200 crore mark.  Baaghi 2 is directed by Ahmed Khan and also stars Disha Patani, Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda, Deepak Dobriyal, Prateik Babbar and Darshan Kumar.

The film courted major controversy thanks Jacqueline Fernandez appearance in the remix version of Madhuri Dixit's iconic Ek Do Teen song from the movie Tezaab. The movie is an unofficial remake of the Telugu hit Kshanam and has resonated well with the audience. We have already informed you have Baaghi 2 has netted more money than Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Padmavaat! It will be pertinent to note that the movie has enjoyed 40-60 per cent occupancy consistently throughout the all-clock-sittings show!

" The film is inching towards the massive Rs 200 crore figure, and it a good sign for the young lad's prospect in the industry especially after his last debacle The Flying Jutt at the box office. With his being featuring in the Dharma Production's next, it will only heighten his popularity to place him in the mainstream. With that and the fact that the film is likely to cross Rs 200 crore mark, Tiger will be taken more seriously and those wrote him off initially, will have to eat their own words," said a close aid of Tiger who has also been keeping a close on eye Shroff's monetary standing at the ticket windows.

The action drama collected Rs 25.10 crore on day one, which is definitely better than much talked about Padmaavat's opening day figures, which happened to be Rs 18 crore. By beating Padmaavat, Baaghi 2 has become 2018's highest opening day grosser. And now in the first 20 days the movie has crossed Rs 150 crore mark and in the days to come it will go past Rs 200 crores, as per the trade Pundits!
