Pakistani actress Saba Qamar who impressed us with her flawless performance in Irrfan Khan's Hindi Medium (2017) recently broke down in front of the camera. The beauty from the neighbouring country narrated an incident stating that she was discriminated at Tbilisi airport in Georgia -- all because of the nationality mentioned on her passport.

Saba, who boasts to be proud Pakistani citizen, was extremely shocked and hurt when she realized how her country is perceived in the outer world. In an interview with A-Plus TV, a Pakistani channel, the 33- year-old artist stated how she was left humiliated at the airport of Tbilisi in Georgia, a country in Eurasia. She had gone to shoot a song sequence for the Indian film Hindi Medium.

The Lahore Se Aagey actress said, “ We were at the airport and while all my Indian crew went ahead, I was detained. I was thoroughly checked and it was the most embarrassing and humiliating moment for me. This is just because I was a Pakistani.” She also stated that the country that she is so proud of, is seen in a bad light in other parts of the world.

In the aftermath of 2016 Uri Attack, it led to the demand of calling a ban on Pakistani artists in India. There was a lot of debate and discussion over the social media over this ban. However, eventually, the decision was taken against imposing a ban but the involvement of the adjacent country’s performers in Indian cinema was not much invited. Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar’s Hindi Medium was a hit at the box office, thanks to its unique content and the fresh on-screen pair. Saba Qamar was recently seen in drama Baaghi based on the life of Qandeel Baloch, a Pakistani starlet who was killed by her brother in the name of honour.
