The transaction, registered on July 14, highlights the ongoing demand for independent, freehold land parcels in the city’s most sought-after residential hubs. Details of John Abraham's Luxurious Property Purchase
According to property registration documents accessed via real estate data analytics firm Liases Foras, the newly acquired property is located on St. Martin Road in Bandra West. The plot spans approximately 1,017.60 square metres (around 10,953 square feet).
The plot currently holds an existing bungalow structure measuring 193.12 square metres in built-up area, alongside an outhouse of roughly 31.50 square metres. In addition to the agreed sale price of INR 84 crore, Abraham incurred INR 5.04 crore in stamp duty fees, along with standard registration and documentation charges to complete the title transfer.
Industry observers note that standalone, freehold residential plots in Bandra West remain extremely rare, contributing to significant premium pricing across the luxury segment.

This purchase marks another substantial addition to Abraham's real estate portfolio over recent years. In December 2023, the actor acquired a 5,416-square-foot bungalow situated on a 7,722-square-foot plot along Linking Road in Khar for INR 70.83 crore, paying over INR 4.24 crore in stamp duty for that transaction.
