Fans are now looking forward to his next film, Battle of Galwan, which is scheduled for an April 2026 release. As per latest reports, Mere Raho, which was also scheduled to arrive in the theatres at the same time, has now been pushed to avoid a clash with Salman Khan's biggie.

A source close to the development told Bollywood Hungama, "Until recently, the makers had locked April 24 as the release date for Mere Raho. They felt that it would be an ideal time for the flick to hit the cinemas. But now, there have been reports coming in that Mere Raho will be pushed to July 2026."

The insider added, "July offers better leg room for a film like Mere Raho. It needs time, repeat value and controlled screen density. The summer corridor allows the film to breathe without noise that comes with the festive and holidat rush." A week back, Alia Bhatt's action thriller Alpha was also postponed for the second time to avoid box office clash with Battle of Galwan.

Makers Aim for Less Crowded Release

The insider said, "The producer, Aamir Khan Productions, has been very selective about the release date. It may be released on April 2,4 or it may not. But since the news of the July release has come to the fore, many have wondered if the film is being pushed due to Battle of Galwan. The Salman Khan starrer has been locked for April 17. May 1, meanwhile, will see Raja Shivaji and The Devil Wears Prada 2 arriving on the big screen. Mere Raho is reportedly set against the stunning winter backdrop of Japan. The movie marks Junaid Khan's third acting project and second theatrical release. Sai Pallavi, on the other hand, makes her much-anticipated Hindi debut with the film.
