According to a report by India Today, the production team for Monster has had to make adjustments to its action schedule due to Kazi's temporary absence. To keep production on track without unnecessary delays, Khan is expected to perform several action sequences himself that would typically be handled by his body double.

The production unit is taking additional safety measures to execute the complex action set-pieces planned for the current schedule. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju, the film features actor Nayanthara as the female lead. The crew is currently filming its second major schedule in Mumbai, utilising a replica of an Afghan village constructed at Prime Focus Studio in Film City, Goregaon, with action sequences designed in collaboration with a specialised Korean stunt crew.

While initial reports claimed that Kazi had suffered a heart attack while working on set, his manager, Piyush, refuted those rumours. Clarifying the timeline of events, Piyush stated that Kazi began feeling unwell at home on August 6 and went in for standard diagnostic tests. The evaluations led to his immediate admission to the hospital for a minor surgical procedure.

Piyush confirmed that Kazi is making a steady recovery and has been advised by medical professionals to take complete rest before returning to work.

Addressing Khan's intervention, Kazi's manager emphasised the strong bond between the actor and his stunt double. Piyush shared that Khan personally checked on Kazi's condition to ensure he received the necessary medical attention without delay, adding that the actor treats Kazi "like a younger brother" and remained directly involved in coordinating his care.
