Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran is about the historic achievement that our country has made in being a nuclear state in 1998. The movie chronicles how India secretly carried its nuclear tests through a brilliantly executed military operation that even hoodwinked the USA's CIA. In the fictional take of these events, John Abraham plays the officer in charge of handling these operations. Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, directed by Abhishek Sharma, also stars Diana Penty and Boman Irani
The makers have revealed a new song from the movie. Jitni Dafa is a soulful track that is composed by Jeet Gannguli with some beautiful verses written by Rashmi Virag. Yasser Desai and Jeet Gannguli have sung the song that shows us glimpses of John Abraham's character's personal life, especially his relationship with his wife played by the beautiful Marathi actress Anuja Sathye. Jitni Dafa also lets us ponder the equation between Abraham's character and Diana Penty's, who plays a fellow officer. Are they in love or is it just friendship? Will that equation affect John Abraham's personal life, especially since the pressure of his job is already doing a bad job at that? Also, isn't it reminiscent of what John Abraham had in Madras Cafe?
We also get to see three different looks of John Abraham in one song for the girls to choose and drool over. There is clean-shaved but moustached look, there is a full-bearded look and then there is a heavily stubbled one. Take your pick!
Parmanu is written by Saiwyn Quadras and Sanyukta Shaikh Chawla. The movie is scheduled to release on May 25. So how did you find the new song from the movie? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
