The actor took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the milestone directly with fans, posting a video from the set. Expressing his excitement for the unfamiliar terrain, Kumar wrote, "New genre. New character. New challenge.

More About ‘Samuk’
Samuk centres on an elite survival narrative combining military realism, survival horror, and alien mythology. Developed over two years, the story stems from Varma’s inspiration drawn from Special Protection Group (SPG) operations and classic survival thrillers like Alien and Predator. To achieve a grounded aesthetic, the production is emphasising practical creature effects over heavy CGI.
Hollywood veteran Alec Gillis an Academy Award-nominated creature designer known for his work on the Alien and Predator franchises, has been brought on board to design the practical alien nemesis. The project also marks the first time in 12 years that Akshay Kumar and producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah are collaborating, having previously delivered hit films such as Namastey London, Singh Is Kinng, and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty. Approximately 90 per cent of the film will be shot across locations in the UK before moving to Mumbai for final schedules. Samuk is currently scheduled for a pan-Indian theatrical release.
