Those who have watched Badla satrring Amitabh Bachchan and Tapsee Pannu in the lead roles have been wondering about the heavy Mallu accent with which Tony Luke speaks in the film. Luke plays Tapsee's lover in the movie. She has an extra-marital affair with the man in this thriller. Luke has a substantial amount of screen time on the big screen as the events unfold around him thanks to his equation with Tapsee.

Many have been questioning Luke's accent in the movie, which is strange.   What is difficult to understand is the fact that Luke's character Arjun Joesph in the film is unmistakably Indian, who hails  from the southern part of the country. He is placed in Glasgow and speaks English with a heavy mother-tongue-influence.

Why did audience fail to get that, we wonder. In fact, the peculiar accent of his has been employed well to make his character look real and distinguished at the same time. Luke discusses the same in this video!  Badla Box Office Collection Day 15: Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu's Crime Thriller Grosses Rs 81.88 Crore
