The multi-starrer phenomena, which has already stormed over the internet in the past few days, has much more in store for the fans. Kalank starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, and Madhuri Dixit, has been garnering much buzz from the day the movie went on the floors and soon after the posters were launched in the last two days, it has turned into one of the most talked-upon events. Earlier today, film critic Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to reveal the new releasing date for Kalank. The movie will now be hitting the theatres on April 17 to benefit from a 5-day extended weekend. Apart from that, he also announced that the movie teaser will be launched on March 12. The film critic shared a glimpse of the Kalank teaser as well.

Taran earlier wrote, "IT'S FINAL... #Kalank to release on 17 April 2019 [was slated for release on 19 April 2019 initially]... Will be a 5-day *extended* opening weekend... Teaser will be out on 12 March 2019."

Well, going by the popularity and rush, seems that Kalank is all set to raise new records at the box office. The film is based in the 1940s, which essays the story of turbulent relationships and eternal love. Kalank: Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha or Madhuri Dixit, Whose Look Received the Loudest Cheer From You?

In the film, Varun plays the part of Zafar, Alia will be seen essaying Roop, Aditya Roy Kapur as Dev Chaudhry, Sonakshi will portray Satya Chaudhry, Sanjay to play Balraj Chaudhry while Madhuri will be seen as Bahaar Begum.

Directed by Abhishek Varman, the movie is produced under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Talking about the film, Karan Johar had earlier revealed that Kalank was the last film that his father worked on and it was his dream to see this film come to life on celluloid.
