The first look poster of the second instalment of 2017 blockbuster Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot is out now and it is amazing. Director Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot both dropped the new poster on their Twitter accounts after the big news of It: Chapter 2 being the only big Warner Bros film getting a presentation at this year's SDCC, on July 17 in ScareDiego. Sharing the poster on her Instagram, Gal Gadot wrote, "Although all of us at Warner Brothers won’t be seeing you at SDCC - Hall H this year. We are so excited for what’s to come. So until then here’s a little gift from us to you.... #WW84."

The first look poster of the film, also confirmed the release date, which will be one year from now, June 5, 2020. The poster features Gadot's Wonder Woman in a shiny metal suit while the background shows her 'WW'initials in vibrant rainbow shards.

Patty Jenkins also confirmed that the official marketing campaign will kick off this December, meaning that we'll presumably get a teaser either with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker or Jumanji 3. Sharing the poster, she wrote, "By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full-- But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait…"

Since Wonder Woman is seen a full suit for the first time, fans have been commenting about the change of her look having a relation to the recent Marvel female superhero, Captain Marvel played by Brie Larson. Although most of the feedback has been positive.
