K-Pop idol Moon Taiel has left his group NCT after alleged "sexual offence" charges, as confirmed by his agency, SM Entertainment. On Wednesday, August 28, the agency released a statement announcing his departure and said, "We have recently learned that Taeil has been accused in a criminal case related to sexual offence. As we were assessing the facts related to the matter, we recognised the severity of the situation and determined that Taeil can no longer continue his activities with the team. After discussing with Taeil, we have decided on his departure from the group. Taeil is currently cooperating full with the police investigations. We will provide further statements as the investigation progresses. We apologise for the concern and distress caused by our artist."
