As per recent reports, the actor wasn't allowed to cast his vote after the official didn't find his name in the booth's voters' list. He then reportedly went home, got his voter ID and visited another booth at a private school in Valasaravakkam to cast his vote. Surprisingly the actor was allowed to vote despite not having his name in the list. When the Election Commission was made aware of this goof-up, they decided to investigate the matter further.
