‘Jana Nayagan’ Producer's Clarification on Censor Certification of the Film
The clarification follows a wave of social media speculation over the past few days, during which claims and a purported certificate went viral online suggesting the film had been awarded an 'A' rating. KVN Productions firmly debunked these reports, labelling the circulating images and claims as entirely fake.
Speaking with Screen, the producer explained that while the film has not yet been certified, the CBFC has finished its latest review. The board has provided the production team with a final list of recommendations.
"The image being circulated is fake," the producer stated. "The CBFC has completed its review and sent us the final list of revisions. Once we complete those changes, we are hopeful of receiving the certification and bringing the film to theatres."
