Mamitha Baiju Expresses Gratitude to Bethlehem Kudumba Unit Director Girish AD

At the jubilant success celebration for Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, held recently in Kerala, Mamitha Baiju, 25, reflected on the director's early confidence in her. She recalled that Girish AD had narrated the story of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit to her immediately after the shoot of Super Sharanya concluded, and notably, before Super Sharanya had even hit screens.

"Girish chettan told me the story of Bethlehem at that time itself. He said then that it would be good if I played this character," Mamitha recounted. She candidly admitted her initial surprise at his unwavering trust. "Even today, I don't know what made Girish chettan say that to me or what gave him the confidence to trust me," she shared. The actress emphasised the profound impact of his faith, particularly at a time when she herself doubted her capacity to carry a lead heroine's role. "Whether it was Premalu or Bethlehem, at a time when I didn't even believe I could play a main heroine's role like this, he believed in me. I am very grateful to him,” Mamitha stated.

Her appreciation extended to the entire cast and crew, acknowledging their collective contribution to the film's monumental achievement.
