Mohsin Khan, best known for his role as Kartik Goenka in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH), recently shared personal health struggles in an interview with Pinkvilla. The 32-year-old actor disclosed that he suffered a heart attack last year and also has been dealing with a fatty liver condition. The YRKKH actor mentioned, “Fatty liver hoh gaya tha, toh last year I had a mild heart attack and maine bataya nai. Aur bahut zyada badh gaya tha (I developed a fatty liver, which led to a mild heart attack last year. I didn't share this at the time, and it got quite serious). I was admitted for some time. Phir eljaz wagera hua. 2-3 hospital change kiye humne (I had to switch hospitals a few times). When asked about the causes of his fatty liver, Mohsin Khan noted, “Pata nai, it is called non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, alcohol bina piye bhi aapko fatty liver hoh sakta hai. Par woh pata nai hoh jata hai, maybe hum sleep pattern sahi nai hai. Woh hua tha (I don’t know, it’s called non-alcoholic fatty liver disease; you can develop fatty liver even without drinking alcohol. But I don’t know why it happens; maybe our sleep pattern wasn’t right. That's what happened).”

In addition to his role in YRKKH from 2016 to 2021, Mohsin Khan has appeared in several other shows, including Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, Dream Girl - Ek Ladki Deewani Si and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.
