Speaking exclusively in recent interviews with Zoom/TellyTalkIndia, Vijayendra Kumeria addressed the persistent rumours surrounding his marriage, putting an end to years of speculation. "I have been separated from Preeti for four years," the 39-year-old actor stated, clarifying the timeline of their parting. The couple, who married in January 2012, are parents to a 10-year-old daughter named Kimaya, born in October 2016.
Rumours about trouble in their marriage first began circulating in 2023. At the time, Preeti Bhatia had refrained from commenting, questioning the reasons behind the public's speculation. However, Kumeria has now chosen to speak out, explaining that he initially maintained silence as he was personally coming to terms with the significant changes in his life. He felt it was crucial to clear the air to prevent further assumptions.

Kumeria revealed that the decision to separate was a mutual one, stemming from "differences and compatibility issues" that escalated over time. "It's not that we didn't try to resolve our issues, but eventually things didn't work and we separated in 2022," he shared, further adding that the divorce decree was obtained in 2025.

Kumeria admitted that having a child made the decision particularly challenging.
