The incident took place in Malviya Nagar, near the Gaurav Tower (GT) market and close to the World Trade Park (WTP) on June 9. According to the Jawahar Circle Police, the young woman, a tourist hailing from Himachal Pradesh, had arrived in Jaipur with her friends.
Early in the morning, after allegedly consuming alcohol, she boarded a cab from her hotel. Upon reaching the commercial hub, an altercation broke out between the woman and the cab driver. As the confrontation escalated, the woman removed her clothing on the public road, drawing a large crowd of onlookers who filmed the episode. Fearing further escalation, the cab driver fled the scene, leaving the woman behind as she continued to shout and create a disturbance.
Responding to alerts from bystanders, the local police arrived at the scene. Authorities stated that because of her heavily intoxicated state, she was safely removed from the public road and taken to the Aparajita Center at Jaipuria Hospital for immediate care and monitoring.
