The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) officially declared the results for the Class 10 Second Board Examination 2026 on Saturday, July 18. Following the announcement, the board reported that the overall pass percentage for the 2026 academic year has reached 96.78 per cent when combining the outcomes of both the main and second board examinations. The second board examination was introduced this year in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, offering students an additional opportunity to improve their academic performance.  According to board data, over 6.63 lakh students appeared for the second examination, which was held between May 15 and May 21,

Performance Highlights

Of the candidates who appeared, approximately 5.13 lakh students sought to improve their scores, with 59.95 per cent successfully enhancing their performance. In the compartment category, 1.49 lakh students appeared, with 78,503 clearing the examination, marking a pass percentage of 52.40 per cent in that segment. How To Access CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026

Students can view and download their scorecards through several official channels provided by the CBSE. To retrieve your results, ensure you have your roll number, school number, and admit card ID ready.

  • Official Websites: Results can be accessed at cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.gov.in. Once on the portal, select the "Secondary School Examination Result (Phase II) 2026" link, enter your login credentials, and submit to view your marks.
  • DigiLocker: Scorecards are available via the DigiLocker website or mobile app. Log in using your registered mobile number or Aadhaar-linked account, navigate to the "Issued Documents" section, and select the Class 10 Marksheet 2026 to download your digital records.

Important Information for Students

School-wise results are being distributed directly to institutions via their registered email addresses. Regular students will receive their printed mark sheets and passing certificates through their respective schools. For private candidates, digital documents are available via DigiLocker, and printed copies will be dispatched to their registered addresses, with specific collection instructions for students under the Delhi East and West regional offices.
