After much wait, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification for 4,102 Probationary Officer (PO) vacancies. It must be noted that the number of openings has been increased by 150 more jobs in Punjab and Sind Bank, which makes the total 4,252. The registration online for the same has begun on its official website; ibps.in. According to the notification, 20 banks which are the members of the IBPS are participating in the IBPS PO recruitment 2018 process, and the last date for candidates to apply is September 4. The preliminary exam for the PO recruitment will be conducted in October 2018. Candidates Can Apply for 417 Probationary Officer Vacancies in Indian Bank. 

This is one of the most significant banking exams which is conducted by the IBPS every year, and it witnesses massive response from bank job aspirants. A detailed notification including the eligibility criteria is mention on the IBPS website. The interested candidates must read them before filling the online applications for PO recruitment 2018. In any case, if you are unable to fill in the application form in one go, due to technical glitches, you must save the data entered, save the provisional registration number and password generated by IBPS. The first stage of the online preliminary recruitment examination is scheduled to be held on October 13, 14, 20 and 21. And the results are expected to be out in November 2018.

IBPS has introduced few changes in the exam which shall be followed from this year. Earlier, the PO prelims were conducted for 60 minutes in total without any sectional timings. But this time, a candidate will be 20 minutes to answer the questions in each section. The pattern is as similar to SBI PO and SBI Clerk Prelims. For IBPS PO Prelims, questions will be asked from English language, quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability. Those who clear this exam will be shortlisted to appear in PO Mains followed by a personal interview for the final selection to get recruited as Probationary Officer.
