The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET UG 2026 re-examination city intimation slip, enabling candidates to check the city where their examination centre has been allotted ahead of the June 21 re-test. The NEET UG 2026 re-examination will be conducted on June 21 in pen-and-paper mode from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The exam will be held across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.   • Visit the official NEET website.

City Slip Is Not the Admit Card

The NTA has clarified that the city intimation slip should not be treated as the NEET UG admit card.

The city slip only provides information regarding the allotted examination city. Candidates must note that entry to the examination centre will be permitted only with a valid admit card.

Admit Card Expected by June 14

According to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, NEET UG 2026 re-exam admit cards are expected to be released by June 14, 2026.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official NTA websites for updates regarding hall tickets, examination guidelines and other important announcements.

Re-Exam Scheduled for June 21

The NEET UG 2026 re-examination is scheduled to take place on June 21 after the earlier examination was cancelled.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has announced that candidates will not be required to pay any additional examination fee for the re-test. Students have also been given the option to choose their preferred examination city for the fresh examination.

Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency on Saturday dismissed as "false" and "fraudulent" claims circulating on social media regarding the alleged leak or sale of the NEET UG 2026 re-examination question paper.

The agency warned that strict action would be taken against individuals or groups found spreading misleading information related to the examination. Candidates have been advised to rely only on official notifications and updates issued through the NTA's official websites and communication channels.
