The Uttar Pradesh government has started the UP Scholarship 2026-27 application process for students pursuing higher education. Students applying for scholarship renewal must complete the application process by October 15, 2026, while fresh applicants can submit their forms until October 31, 2026.
UP Scholarship 2026-27: Who Can Apply?
The UP Scholarship Dashmottar category is applicable to students enrolled in graduation, postgraduate, diploma, ITI and other eligible courses. Students belonging to General, OBC, SC, ST and minority communities can apply, subject to the prescribed eligibility criteria. After submission, applications are checked through institutional verification and subsequent scrutiny. UP Scholarship 2026-27: How Much Scholarship Do UG Students Get?
The scholarship amount depends on the course group and whether the student is a day scholar or hosteller. For eligible undergraduate students, the prescribed rates range from Rs 230 to Rs 550 per month for day scholars and Rs 380 to Rs 1,200 per month for hostellers, depending on the applicable course group.
