Who Is Tariq Mansoor?
Professor Tariq Mansoor is a doctor, surgeon, academician and former vice chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University. Before moving into politics, Mansoor served as Professor and Principal of the Department of Surgery at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU. He later became the university's vice chancellor.
Mansoor assumed office as AMU vice chancellor on May 17, 2017, for a five-year term.
