Bulandshahr violence: 27 people have been named by Police in FIR against violent protests which broke out after alleged cattle slaughter. 60 unnamed people also mentioned in the FIR.
A police inspector was killed in a violent clash that broke out between the residents of Chingrawati village in UP's Bulandshahr and the police. According to media reports, inspector Subodh Kumar Singh, posted at Syana Kotwali, died after he sustained serious injuries in the stone pelting by villagers during clashes that erupted after news of alleged cow slaughter in the village.
The Supreme Court Monday directed the Maharashtra government to submit before it the charge sheet filed against arrested rights activists before a Pune court in connection with the Koregaon-Bhima violence case. A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said it wanted to see the "charges" against the accused and asked senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for the Maharashtra government, to submit before it by December 8 the charge sheet filed by the state police in a special court in Pune.
As many as 30 Benami lockers were detected by the Income Tax Department (IT) during an ongoing raid in a private vault at Delhi's Chandni Chowk.
