The clip was uploaded to his YouTube channel and began circulating rapidly on social media around 11 am, quickly drawing sharp criticism from users who called the content offensive and demanded action.

Women's Commission Takes Notice

As the video spread, UP State Women's Commission chairperson Dr. Babita Singh Chauhan took suo motu cognizance of the matter and issued a notice to the YouTuber. Dr. Chauhan said women cannot be made the subject of jokes under any circumstances, and that disrespect toward women's dignity in the name of freedom of expression would not be tolerated. She said the commission acted on the matter and had the video removed after issuing the notice.

YouTuber's Response

In his defence, Babu Gappi said his intention was never to insult women and that the content was created purely for satire and entertainment. He said that if his video had hurt anyone's sentiments, he apologised with folded hands.
