The deceased has been identified as Sonali Sharma, a resident of the Sundar Nagar area in Indore. According to police, Sharma had checked into LX Hotel, located under the Tilak Nagar police station jurisdiction, earlier in the day alongside an acquaintance identified as Deepak. Hotel staff reported that Deepak alerted them in the evening after Sharma's health deteriorated rapidly. While initial assistance was provided to transport her to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, Sharma succumbed to her condition shortly after arrival. Medical personnel pronounced her dead, prompting hospital authorities to alert local law enforcement.
Investigators revealed that Deepak disappeared from the hospital during the emergency response and remains untraceable.
