According to officials, the raid was carried out based on technical surveillance and human intelligence developed after recent arrests. Investigators revealed that an accused identified as Tanishq was allegedly working in coordination with Arun, 59, who was operating an unlicensed factory in Gaya without mandatory approvals or qualified chemists. Police seized massive quantities of fake medicines and manufacturing equipment, including 1,19,800 counterfeit zinc tablets, 42,480 fake Azithromycin tablets, 27 kg of Paracetamol, and 444 spurious Dilona Aqua ampoules. Authorities also recovered over 5 kg of smuggled tramadol powder valued at more than INR 5 crore in the international market. The powder was allegedly processed into tablets and sold through bogus medical outlets at inflated prices.

Officials said the syndicate managed the entire illegal supply chain from sourcing raw materials to manufacturing and distribution, posing a serious public health threat. The multi state operation involved coordinated raids and extensive tracking, delivering a significant blow to the organised narcotics network.
